Oversized & Overweight Shipments 

Extra shipping charges may apply if your order includes: 

    • A single item longer than 1165mm 
    • A single item heavier than 30kg 
    • A single item larger than 0.12m³ in volume 
    • An order weighing more than 150kg in total 
    • An order with a total volume greater than 0.6m³ 

Note: Large and heavy items will always attract freight charges, even if they fall under Zone 1 or Zone 2 free shipping rules. 

Air Freight 

Air freight is available for lightweight items and is charged as follows: 

    • Flat Rate: $15 per item 
    • Eligibility: Applies to items weighing less than 5kg or with a cubic measurement below 0.025m³ 
    • Coverage: Available for deliveries to all Australian capital cities, excluding NT 

Freight Policy 

    • Pricing: All freight charges are quoted excluding GST. 
    • Applicability: This policy applies only to orders dispatched from TECHOM Systems’ partnered warehouses. 
    • Dispatch Times: 
    • Orders placed by 2pm for Sydney metro – best effort for overnight delivery. 
    • Orders placed by 2pm for interstate and air freight – best effort for same-day dispatch (transit times depend on location and carrier). 
    • Service Guarantee: Freight services are provided on a best effort basis and are not guaranteed. 
    • Priority Options: Guaranteed same-day delivery for Sydney metro may be available as a chargeable service. Please contact us for details. 
    • Oversized & Overweight Items: Items over 30kg or bulky equipment (e.g., racks, UPS devices) will incur freight charges, regardless of zone. 
    • Online Orders: Orders placed via the website that require freight will be put on hold until the freight cost is confirmed. Customers will be notified of the applicable charges. 
    • Digital Products: Electronic items such as licenses and selected warranties do not incur freight charges. 
    • Collect Orders: Freight is not charged for orders marked as Collect. These must be collected between 9am – 4pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). 
    • Special Arrangements: Custom freight solutions (tailgate, assisted delivery, or unique requirements) can be arranged on a case-by-case basis. 

Shipping & Freight Guidelines (Terms & Conditions) 

    1. TECHOM Systems’ shipping policy applies to standard road and air freight services. For unique or special delivery needs, please reach out to your TECHOM Systems representative.
    2. Freight charges may be applied to any order. Orders that include large, heavy, or unusually sized items may require a custom freight quote, which must be approved before shipment.
    3. Flat-rate Zone 1 or Zone 2 freight costs will be calculated and added during checkout. By completing an order, you confirm you are authorised to accept these charges on your company’s behalf.
    4. Orders needing a freight quote will be temporarily placed on hold until a representative provides the shipping cost. Online orders may require full payment before the shipping charges are finalised to reserve stock.
    5. All orders placed via the TECHOM Systems website will be shipped to the address entered at checkout. Multiple delivery addresses cannot be accommodated for a single order.
    6. Delivery addresses cannot be changed once an order is submitted. To update the delivery information, contact 1800 867 669.
    7. Freight prices displayed on the website, promotional material, or downloadable documents exclude GST unless explicitly stated.
    8. For Sydney metro orders placed by 2 PM, overnight dispatch is attempted on a best-effort basis; delivery is not guaranteed.
    9. Interstate orders placed by 2 PM may be dispatched the same day on a best-effort basis; delivery cannot be guaranteed.
    10. A responsible person must be available to receive the delivery during business hours. TECHOM Systems may charge a $15 ex GST fee for redelivery if the first attempt fails. If the order is cancelled and reordered within 30 days to the same address, the fee applies.
    11. Special shipping arrangements can be arranged individually. TECHOM Systems may not be able to guarantee a specific delivery time or date.
       
    12. TECHOM Systems reserves the right to limit the quantity of items per order in exceptional situations.
    13. Orders are dispatched Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
    14. Weekend orders are processed and dispatched the next business day or when stock becomes available, whichever is sooner.
    15. Orders cannot be shipped to Post Office Boxes. If a PO Box is provided, a physical address will be requested and a redelivery fee may apply if already dispatched.
    16. Orders marked for collection do not incur freight charges. Collection is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–4 PM, excluding public holidays.
    17. Electronic products, such as software licenses and warranties, do not incur freight charges.
    18. If an order is split and the first shipment qualifies for free freight, a delivery charge may be applied to the second shipment.
    19. For backorders or partial shipments, freight charges only apply to the first shipment. Subsequent shipments to complete the order will be delivered via standard road freight at no additional cost.
    20. A flat-rate air freight fee of $15 applies per notebook for devices with screens 15.6” or smaller.
